About Us
Eastside Community Hub (ECH) is a community-based organization in Umoja 3 Estate dedicated to transforming the lives of young people and young mothers. By combining structured basketball training with life skills, mentorship, and nutrition programs, we tackle poverty, reduce stigma, and promote community solidarity.
We believe that sport is a vehicle for change—helping youth gain confidence and resilience while opening doors to economic opportunities, healthier lifestyles, and stronger families.

Why We Exist
In Umoja 3, many young people and mothers face barriers such as poverty, stigma, limited opportunities, and malnutrition. Eastside Community Hub exists to bridge these gaps by turning basketball courts into platforms for empowerment, mentorship, and community service.
